Swachh Bharat awareness march through Lar

As part of the Swachh Bharat initiative, students and staff of Ambedkar International School marched through the streets of Lar carrying placards on plastic pollution and cleanliness, led by a decorated jeep.

The message the children carried — stop using plastic, start saving lives — was aimed at the town rather than at the school, which was the point of holding it outside the campus.

Community programmes of this kind are part of how the school teaches that education carries an obligation to give something back.
