A school built on values, discipline and care

Ambedkar International School stands in Matiyara Jagdish, on the Lar road, and takes children from Nursery through Class 10 in both Hindi and English.

The school was founded in 2017 by Rajneesh Tiwari, who believed a child born in a village outside Lar deserved the same schooling as a child born in a city. After his passing during the Covid period, his wife Pratibha Tiwari took up the work and has carried it forward since.

What that looks like on an ordinary Tuesday: an assembly on the ground at half past seven, a science practical in Class 8, a Nursery room with jungle murals on the walls, and ten vehicles bringing children in from villages across the block.

Labs, smart classrooms, a music room, a covered play area, cameras throughout, and the transport to reach it all.

Computer Lab

One system per student and supervised practical sessions, with computer education timetabled from Class 1 onward.

Science Lab

Glassware, microscopes, chemicals and separate benches for group work, aligned to the UP Board practical syllabus from Class 6.

Smart Classrooms

Large LED interactive screens in hand-painted, mural-decorated rooms, well lit and properly ventilated.

Music Room

Keyboard, synthesiser, tabla and percussion in a jungle-mural room. Students perform at Annual Day and school events.

Kids Play Area

A large covered indoor play area with slides, swings and rocking animals, next to the KG Learning Centre.

CCTV Monitoring

Cameras across classrooms, corridors, playgrounds and gates, with a dual-screen monitoring room and continuous recording.

Transport Fleet

Six buses and four vans covering routes across Lar block, staffed on every route and maintained on schedule.

KG Learning Centre

Bright furniture, activity boards and colour-coded corners where play and early learning run together for Nursery and KG.
